This Historic Vintage Mansion is situated on a over sized corner double lot. The ivy-covered mansion was originally built in 1893 for Chicago furniture magnate, Samuel Karpen. The majority of the original trim and woodwork has been restored including the grand oak staircase. The property spans across three floors with numerous fireplaces, decorative stained glass, and an updated chef’s kitchen. A large deck off the kitchen provides a perfect area for entertaining, leading to a landscaped yard and a four car brick garage. Currently, it is used as the Welcome Inn Manor bed and breakfast. This place is perfect for entrepreneurs with culinary talent. It can be used as entertainment space, living space, and the owner has considered selling the bed and breakfast business separately with the sale, provided there is interest. This spectacular property has much historic beauty, and a new buyer is soon to appreciate this!
