About Ivona Kutermankiewicz

With more than 30 years in real estate, Ivona has built her reputation as a trusted advisor and a fierce advocate for her clients. She’s known for her thorough, detail-driven approach - every transaction gets her full attention, every detail is handled with care, and every client feels truly supported.

Ivona takes the time to understand what each person wants, whether she’s helping a luxury seller reach the right buyers, guiding a first-time homeowner through the process, or advising an investor on their next smart move. Her passion for the work and her consistent professionalism deliver exceptional results and create long-lasting relationships.

After negotiating more than 1,000 contracts, Ivona brings sharp, well-honed negotiation skills to the table. Her calm confidence and clear communication make even the most complex deals feel manageable, no matter what the market throws her way.

Ivona was born and raised in Poland and originally planned to become a lawyer, finishing at the top of her class during her first four years of law school. But as Poland began to change in 1989, so did her plans. When the government opened its borders for the first time in decades, Ivona took the opportunity to start a new life in America - and like many fellow Poles, she chose Chicago.

Fluent in Polish and deeply proud of her heritage, Ivona still returns often to visit her family. But, she has now lived in Chicago much longer than she had in Poland and calls the city her ‘one true home.’ Outside of work, she enjoys modern architecture, travel, fashion, and fitness. A lifelong dog mom, she shares her West Town home and garden with her husband Steven and their rescue pups, Atlas and Thor.

Ivona is deeply committed to giving back to her community. She serves on the board of the Jackson Chance Foundation, an organization that provides vital transportation support to families with critically ill babies in Chicago NICUs. Every year, she pours her time and energy into key fundraising events like the Owl Ride for Jackson and the Ping Pong Ball. Her involvement goes far beyond showing up. Her efforts raise significant funds, build community connections, and inspire others to rally behind a cause that truly changes lives.
